AHR Polyurethane Lined Slurry Pumps with PU Wear Parts

Rubber Lined Slurry Pumps are single stage, cantilever, double casing, horizontal, corrosion resistant centrifugal slurry pumps. The HSR type pump is interchangeable with Warman rubber lined pumps. They have been designed for the treatment of corrosive, acidic or erosive slurries in mining, coal, metallurgy, power, building materials, sand washing and other industrial departments.


Polyurethane (commonly abbreviated PU) is a unique material that offers the elasticity of rubber combined with the toughness and durability of metal.

The abrasion and tear resistance of polyurethanes is much better than that of rubbers, while providing higher load-bearing capacity. Compared to plastics, urethanes offer superior impact resistance, while providing excellent wear properties and elastic memory.

It allows the engineer to replace rubber, plastic and metal with optimal physical and abrasion resistance properties. Polyurethane can reduce facility maintenance.

Benefits

● The dual housing design of our Warman rubber slurry pump replacement allows for axial splitting. Made of ductile iron, the pump body is able to withstand the high pressures produced in the pumping chamber. The liners are made from wear-resistant materials and do not stick to the outer casing for ease of maintenance and replacement.
● The slurry pump body is attached to the mounting base by several bolts. Users can easily adjust the clearance between the impeller and suction liner from underneath the bearing bracket.
● Throat seal, mechanical seal and expeller seal are available to prevent mud leakage during pumping operation,
● The compact structure allows the pump to take up little floor space.

● The HSR type lightweight slurry pump is a horizontal cantilever unit that allows slurry to enter the pumping chamber from only one suction side.
● Double housing design and all wearing parts of the slurry pump are replaceable and made of high chrome alloy for maximum resistance to wear and abrasion. Rubber and polyurethane are also selected to make coatings and wheels, to adapt them to various working conditions. .
● Different types of impellers are designed to handle a variety of flow patterns.
● The rotating shaft uses a gland seal. Expeller dynamic seal and other mechanical seal arrangements are options.
● The polyurethane lined slurry pump is designed to operate at high speed while providing high capacity and low head. It is suitable for low abrasion and low viscosity slurry pumping applications.
● The discharge outlet has 8 positions at 45 degree intervals that can be selected to meet installation and application requirements.
